Critical’s well-established battery technology provides dependable power via a magnetic plug connection, familiar from other Critical and Bishop machines. This allows compatibility with the Critical V3 battery and Bishop Power Wand batteries, enabling fast and efficient battery changes during sessions.

The included PRIME batteries display essential operating parameters clearly on the top of the machine and allow intuitive control via three simple buttons.

Hygiene is one of the PRIME Pen’s standout features. Using the supplied tool, the machine can be fully dismantled and thoroughly cleaned. Even the internal plunger bar can be accessed if a cartridge membrane fails or contaminants enter the machine.

The PRIME X Critical Pen is available in two stroke lengths:

3.5mm stroke – ideal for Black & Grey artists or anyone who prefers a slightly softer yet fast-performing machine.

4.2mm stroke – designed for artists focused on bold line work and colour packing.
