Designed by KAI in Japan and crafted in KAI’s China factory, Migiwa is made from 9Cr18 stainless steel using MIM (Metal Injection Moulding). This high-carbon, high-chromium martensitic stainless steel is known for its corrosion resistance, hardness, and edge retention.
MIM production allows for high precision and minimal waste compared to traditional forging, reducing manufacturing processes and costs—making Migiwa by KAI even more accessible.
