The AMP'D™ Blade for Recon® is built for barbers who want one setup that can move from bulk removal into blending and detail work without breaking rhythm. Its 28-tooth cutter, thinner cutting blade, and deeper grooved stationary blade create the audible "crunch" feedback that lets you hear the feed while you work, helping build confidence through every pass. Adjustment from 0000–0A gives you the flexibility to move from debulking to detail work on a single setup.

AMP'D™ blades are designed to work with the AMP'D™ Magnetic Guard Set (Item #564994). As part of the Andis Lync™ System, AMP'D™ blades use a different attachment platform than traditional Andis blades, so standard Andis attachment combs, including the classic purple guards, are not compatible. The AMP'D™ Magnetic Guard Set includes five magnetic combs ranging from 1/16" (1.5 mm) to 1/2" (13 mm) and is specifically designed for use with AMP'D™ blade setups.

The Lync™ System is Andis' cross-tool blade platform designed to expand blade compatibility across select Andis and compatible professional tools. By using optimized blade mounting geometry, the Lync™ System allows barbers to use Andis blade technology across more tool options while maintaining the performance and cutting characteristics they prefer. AMP'D™ blades are part of the Lync™ System and are designed to be used with compatible Lync™ accessories, including the AMP'D™ Magnetic Guard Set.
